Captures stay on your Mac
Capturing, naming and saving all happen locally. Screenshots are never uploaded and there is no cloud storage. No account, no analytics.
Permissions
macOS asks for Screen Recording permission so ShotFlow can capture your screen, plus normal access to the folders you choose. Captures never include audio. ShotFlow doesn't need Accessibility access and never reads your clipboard — it only writes to it when you press Copy.
Plain files
Screenshots are saved as ordinary PNG, JPG or HEIC files in your folders. Only your project settings are stored.
Payments
Purchases are handled by our payment provider in your browser; we never see your card details.
This website
Hosted on GitHub Pages, which may log basic request data. No cookies, no analytics.
